Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory is pleased to announce that Thijs Scholte has joined our growing Berlin team as a senior consultant. In his role, Thijs will work on a wide range of strategy consulting, development and implementation projects in the renewable energy sector while helping drive an efficient global energy transition by providing insights that guide our clients through important strategic decisions in the cleantech realm.
Prior to joining Apricum, Thijs worked as a senior energy and utilities consultant with the global management consultant firm Sia Partners. Before that, Thijs gained experience developing energy integration roadmaps and setting up utility-scale battery storage pilot programs for transmission system operators in the Middle East.
Thijs holds a Bachelor of Science in energy and industry system engineering from the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and a Master’s degree in science management from the EADA business school in Barcelona, where he also lectures on essential business skills as an assistant professor.
A native Dutch-speaker and fluent in English, Thijs has a passion for innovation and startups, and during his free time he enjoys outdoor activities like cycling, rowing and hiking.
